도형상담의 이론적 배경
대개 교회에서 하는 도형상담의 이론적 배경이 무엇인지 모르고 무작정 달려가는 현상이 짙어지고 있습니다.
그러나 아래와 같이 그것은 다 기질론에 기초하고 있다.
"도형상담은 히포크라테스, 칸트, T 라하이로 이어지는 기질론과 현대 응용심리학인 정신의학을 기초로 해서 Montessori의 자유해방의 교육과 Maslow의 욕구 실현 체계, V. Frank의 신휴머니즘과 지그 지글러, N. 필, R. 슐러 등의 창조적 행동양식을 연결하여 인간에 대한 종합적, 통합적 이해를 시도하는 휴머니즘 치료상담 이론이다."
"도형상담은 다혈질, 우울질, 담즙질, 점액질 등 네가지 기질로 나눈다. 한 변이 6cm의 작은 정사각형과 이 사각형을 둘러싼 한 변이 12cm인 정사각형을 바탕으로 원(○), 에스자(S), 삼각형(△), 사각형(□) 등 네 개의 도형을 그리게 해서 그 사람의 기질을 알아낸다. 먼저 이 네 개의 도형 가운데 가장 좋아하는 도형을 세 번 그리게 한 다음, 나머지 세 개의 도형을 각각 한 번씩 자기가 적당하다고 여겨지는 자리에다 그리도록 한다. 이 검사지를 보고 내담자의 주 기질(1차 기질)과 부 기질(2차 기질), 종속기질(3차 기질)을 알아내는 것이다."

이런 기질론이나 혈액형 성격유형 파악의 배경에는 점성술이 자리 잡고 있다.
교회에서 이런 것을 파악하지 못하고 너무나도 열심히 빨려 들고 있어서 너무나 안타깝다.
언제나 하나님의 언약의 백성들은 오직 하나님의 말씀만으로 기초를 삶으며 힘을 삼으면서 여호와를 아는 것으로 자랑하며 기뻐해야 한다.

그 마지막 단계가 "자아실현"입니다. 기독교인의 목표가 "자아실현"일까요???

What exactly is self-actualization? Located at the peak of Abraham Maslow's hierarchy, he described this high-level need in the following way:
"What a man can be, he must be. This need we may call self-actualization...It refers to the desire for self-fulfillment, namely, to the tendency for him to become actualized in what he is potentially. This tendency might be phrased as the desire to become more and more what one is, to become everything that one is capable of becoming."While the theory is generally portrayed as a fairly rigid hierarchy, Maslow noted that the order in which these needs are fulfilled does not always follow this standard progression. For example, he notes that for some individuals, the need for self-esteem is more important than the need for love. For others, the need for creative fulfillment may supersede even the most basic needs.
Characteristics of Self-Actualized People
In addition to describing what is meant by self-actualization in his theory, Maslow also identified some of the key characteristics of self-actualized people:
- Acceptance and Realism: Self-actualized people have realistic perceptions of themselves, others and the world around them.
- Problem-centering: Self-actualized individuals are concerned with solving problems outside of themselves, including helping others and finding solutions to problems in the external world. These people are often motivated by a sense of personal responsibility and ethics.
- Spontaneity: Self-actualized people are spontaneous in their internal thoughts and outward behavior. While they can conform to rules and social expectations, they also tend to be open and unconventional.
- Autonomy and Solitude: Another characteristic of self-actualized people is the need for independence and privacy. While they enjoy the company of others, these individuals need time to focus on developing their own individual potential.
- Continued Freshness of Appreciation: Self-actualized people tend to view the world with a continual sense of appreciation, wonder and awe. Even simple experiences continue to be a source of inspiration and pleasure.
- Peak Experiences: Individuals who are self-actualized often have what Maslow termedpeak experiences, or moments of intense joy, wonder, awe and ecstasy. After these experiences, people feel inspired, strengthened, renewed or transformed.
